HOW TO GET THERE
The map shows the general location.

Take the A228 road from Wainscott towards Grain. Hoo St. Werburgh is well sign posted on this road. Just after climbing a fairly steep hill with a road bridge over it the road drops down to a roundabout Take the second exit, signposted "Hoo St. Werburgh" and then the first exit at the next roundabout. You are now in Main Road.
N.B. These roundabouts are part of a new road layout completed this year (2006). At present most printed maps, online maps and SatNav systems still show the old layout.
After approximately 700 metres and just before you reach Hoo swimming pool, there is a traffic island. Immediately after the island, on the right hand side is a private track flanked with black, white and yellow posts. This is the entrance to Church Farm and takes you to the sailing club.
If you reach a mini-roundabout you have just passed the farm entrance. Use the roundabout to do a U-turn and take the first track on your left.
Follow this track to the top of the hill (observing the 15mph speed limit) and then follow the unsurfaced track in front of you to the club car park. Walk down the track through the wood to the clubhouse and dinghy park and ask for the Duty Officer.
Please do not stop or park on the farm tracks.
