MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
You do not have to own your own boat as there is always someone looking for a crew and it gives you the chance to try out different types of boat before you buy your own. Wilsonian is a family club and children are welcomed. Our junior training caters for children of 6 years of age and above following the RYA Youth Sailing scheme.
Non-sailing members are always welcome to help with the running of the club or just enjoying the facilities.
The club is unpretentious and has no employees, which keeps subscriptions down. However, this does mean that we expect our members to give up two or three days sailing during the season to help run the club.

HOW TO JOIN
Please call our Membership Secretary (see below) who will explain the membership options and what is included. Alternatively, come and visit us on any Sunday during the sailing season. To find us, use the map and travel directions shown on the Location page. When you arrive, ask to see the Chief Duty Officer or the Membership Secretary who will be happy to show you the clubs facilities and provide you with an application form.
The application form should be sent to the Membership Secretary with your joining fee and annual subscription. On receipt, you will be a Provisional Member and may enjoy the full facilities of the club. Within a few weeks, you will be notified of your acceptance, or otherwise, as a member (we may wish to interview you first).
If you own a boat, you might be interested in temporary membership to try out our facilities. If you subsequently decide to join, the Temporary Membership fee will be deducted from the Full Membership joining fee.

COST
We pride ourselves on our modest level of subscriptions which compare favourably with other clubs that offer similar facilities. Current rates are detailed on the Membership Application Form.
